When it comes to summer jobs in Michigan, it doesn't get much better than a summer job at a Michigan state park or campground.

The time to apply is now.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is hiring 1,200 seasonal workers to work in Michigan's 103 state parks, state forest campgrounds, boating access sites and harbors.

Summer workers will be paid between $9.65 and $11.60 an hour and may work up to 1,040 hours from April 19 - Oct. 17, 2020.

Applicants must be 18 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also be willing to work weekends and evenings, and are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
