A Michigan man allegedly used FarmersOnly.com to scam a woman out of bushels of money.

According to journalstar.com,

The U.S. Attorney's Office has asked to dismiss an indictment accusing a Michigan man of bilking a Nebraska woman he met on an online dating website of nearly $300,000.  After Calvin M. Anderson, of Detroit, met the woman on farmersonly.com, she ended up wiring him $298,295 between Feb. 27 and March 10 of last year, the indictment said.

There's no word yet on why the U.S. Attorney's Office is attempting to drop the charges.  We'll keep you updated as we find out more.
