We've been robbed. Well, not us, but the Michigan State Police have been robbed.

Ironic, isn't it?

According to WILX-TV, the Michigan State Police cars came in second in a contest to determine the "best looking cruiser" run by the American Association of State Troopers. I admit, I never look forward to seeing a Michigan State Police cruiser coming up behind me with that big "gumball" flashing, but you DO know one when you see one, mainly because of the unique light on top and the "sharkfin" on the hood. So, who beat us with the best looking car?

Nebraska. That's right - the Nebraska State Patrol.

I don't get it. Take a look at their website and tell me their car is anywhere as unique as Michigan's. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Apparently it's more about the photo, not the actual patrol car itself. I know the NSP photo is of one of their cars with a tornado bearing down on it. My guess is, to win next time, we'll have to have one of Michigan's cars buried up to it's gumball in snow, somewhere in the U.P. (Seriously, they ought to do that)

Since they're always following you, follow the MSP on Facebook.
