More Counterfeit Money Circulating in Kalamazoo
The Kalamazoo County Treasurer's Office is warning people to be on the lookout for more counterfeit money circulating in the area. A counterfeit $10 bill was used for payment at the County Administration building on Tuesday. At first glance the bill appeared to be authentic, however, suspicions were raised due to the texture of the paper and the size of the bill. This follows a similar incident in which a counterfeit $20 bill was put up for payment at the Kalamazoo County District Court. The Treasurer's Office is urging people to pay attention to their money.
