More Than Hot Dogs Will Be Served At Ford Field This Thanksgiving

At Ford Field you can get your game on and take care of your Thanksgiving craving

If you are one of the die hard Lions fans that will be celebrating Thanksgiving at Ford Field this holiday, here is the grub you can look forward too!

The chefs at Levy, the food and beverage provider for Ford Field, shared information with the Detroit Free Press on a few special holiday food offerings on game day.

• Smoked Turkey loaded fry: Roasted garlic gravy, crispy cornbread stuffing, cranberry aioli and fresh herbs, topped with fried onions. Located at the Crown Royal Corner Bar and Grille.
• Grilled Turkey Burger: Grilled turkey patty served with fresh apples, herbs, barbecue aioli and peppered bacon on a toasted pretzel bun. It’s served with house-fried potato chips. Find it at the Bud Light Party Zone.
• Thanksgiving Day loaded potato: Located at the Mitten Mash Stand, this 1-pound potato will be topped with smoked turkey, house-made gravy, cranberry sauce aioli and roasted stuffing. It’s topped with cornbread crumbles.
• Ford Field Traditional Smoked Turkey Leg: Traditional smoked turkey leg served with house-made stuffing and cranberry sauce. Located in General Concessions.

Yet, if that does not tickle your taste buds, you can always check out Wahlburgers! The burger chain Wahlburgers, has two  locations inside Ford Field, and for the holiday they will be serving a Thanksgiving turkey burger. The menu describes the delight as a  "quarter-pound ground seasoned turkey burger is topped with stuffing, mayo, house-made orange-cranberry sauce and roasted butternut squash". Now, that's a Thanksgiving day Burger!

With all the great food, all Lions fans have to worry about is a win against the Bears...yea, at least there is good food!
