MSU And Oakland To Continue Basketball Series With 6 Game Agreement
The interstate series between Michigan State and Oakland University will continue as the teams have announced a new six game agreement.
According to M-Live, the agreement will see the teams play each other at the Breslin Center and Little Caesars Arena over the next six years.
This season the teams will play at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, December 14th. The teams have battled each other since 1998 over 17 times. The Spartans own the series winning all 17 match ups.
The game with Oakland is a part of a tough upcoming non conference schedule for the Spartans which includes opening the season against Kentucky. The Spartans will also play in the Maui Invitational, that features Virginia Tech, Kansas, UCLA, and Georgia.
Duke will be in East Lansing on December 3rd as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The complete 2019-2020 schedule for the Spartans hasn't been posted but you can keep up with the team at MSU Spartans dot com.
