Whenever you see a crime it's always important the first thing you do is contact the police. but what about after the crime has been reported? It turns out there is an app called Neighbors By Ring, which acts as the new neighborhood watch. The app is free and can even send you alerts when a crime has been reported in your area. That alone makes me feel super comfortable, especially for those who have kids who may be playing in an area that has an active criminal.

They describe their app as: "The new neighborhood watch. Get real time crime and safety alerts from your neighbors and local law enforcement. Millions of Americans are already using Neighbors. It's more than an app, it's the power of your community coming together to keep you safe and informed." I'm so glad I found this app, it seems like it'll be a very helpful tool to have. Someone in a Parchment Facebook group posted about it today and I had to check it out.
