Next College Football Selection Committee To Have Michigan Ties
ESPN.com's Heather Dinich is reporting that former Michigan coach Lloyd Car and former Central Michigan coach Herb Deromedi have been named to the College Football Playoff selection committee.
The two, along with Oregon AD Rob Mullens and former Southern Miss coach Jeff Bower are the four new members of the committee. They replace the likes of legendary Nebraska coach and AD Tom Osborne and USC AD Pat Haden.
Deromedi says the fact that Carr and he are from Michigan is a "non-factor", but you have to believe if WMU is good next season, there may be a sympathetic ear or two on the committee.
