Sometimes you often wonder what makes people tick. This question can never be answered because you never know what someone is going to do on any given day, right?

How about those nine men who stole 5 Chevy Camaros from a GM auto plant in Lansing and led police on a high speed chase?

What were these guys thinking? Did they think they were going to get away with it? All nine were arrested by the police.

Then you wonder, were they going to use these stolen vehicles for the parts, or what was their end plan for all 5 Camaros?

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

At about 12:17 a.m. May 2, troopers from the Michigan State Police Lansing and Brighton posts launched a large-scale search effort on I-96 looking for five vehicles stolen from the GM auto plant in Lansing, police said.

Long story short, all 5 Camaros were located along I-96 near Oakland County. Countless police agencies worked over-time and apprehended all nine car thieves.

Have you ever seen anyone steal something? Back in the late '80s, I was coming home from work late around 1 or 2 in the morning and I witnessed four men rolling stolen tires down Miller Rd. in Lansing.

I watched all four of them walk outside of a gate from a local dealership with these  brand new tires.

Here's the best part, I only lived about four houses down from where these guys were coming from. I pulled into my driveway at home, went inside and got my dad who at the time was a Lansing Police officer.

By the time my dad came outside, all four of these thieves were starting to walk by our house with all four tires. My dad informed them that he was a police officer for Lansing. At that point, all four men dropped the tires and started running. Game over!
