Parents:Here Are Some Of The APPS Human Trafficking Predators Use

I'ts only been in the last couple of years that I've come to realize how serious and pervasive human trafficking is in our area.  Not only is this a terrifying environment being created by evil people, Southwest Michigan is an area that is near the top in incidents in the country.  I don't want my daughters or my wife going anywhere alone; especially at night.  And I mean anywhere like the store or the gas station.  We should also know that most abductions aren't spontaneous and start online using specific apps.

In an article on wxyz.com, well known apps are being used by these predators and parents need to know about them.  Some are using back page, some are actually using Facebook Messenger, and some are actually setting up Messenger kids, and pretending to be someone’s child.  Some predators are using dating apps like Hot or Not or Skout. Others use messaging apps like Kik or Whatsapp, or apps meant for entertainment like Snapchat and Tiktok.  Here's a list of some of the other apps that known human traffickers are using.
