Village Of Paw Paw Power Outage Scheduled For Tonight (Jan 15, 2016)

Critical Power work Scheduled for 1am Friday the 16th will have most of Paw Paw without power.

According to an e-mail from Larry Neilsen, Village Manager in Paw Paw, Indiana Michigan Power Company informed them late yesterday that they will be repairing three switches serving most of the village. This will result in Electric outages to a large part of the village.

The areas affected will include residents Michigan Avenue and South and from Kalamazoo Street to Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply and many others.

The work was planned for a later date but the warmer weather that is anticipated for the end of the week the dicision was made to go ahead with the work.Those that wish to see if their property is included in the scheduled outage area may contact John Small, Director of Public Services for the Village at 657-3169.
