A few weeks ago I saw an event that the People's Food Court was hosting that I seriously wanted to partake in, mainly because tamales are one of my favorite foods. Their "Learn How To Make Tamales" class sold out before I even had a chance to see how much tickets were. Luckily for me I also just discovered that they're hosting multiple nights with the same event. The event on April 26th is SOLD OUT for classes. The events held on March 15th and March 22nd, however, have tickets available for only the 4 p.m. class.

Join Maria Hernandez of Teresa's Kitchen to learn to make fresh tamales. She will show participants how to make the masa, 2 different fillings (chicken and vegetarian/vegan), wrap it all up, and steam to perfection! Maria has been making tamales for 12 years and is working hard to launch her food truck business at farmers markets next year.
$25 per person*. Kids 12-17 are free with an adult.
