Pharmacy Robbed at Knifepoint

Police say a man armed with a knife robbed a pharmacy in Kalamazoo yesterday.  It happened at around 5:45 at a Walgreens on South Westnedge.  The robber brought a candy bar to the counter and then pulled the knife when the cash drawer was opened.  The man escaped with a small amount of money and was seen driving off in a dark-colored Chevy Malibu.  The robber is described as a black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, with an average build wearing a black and white checkered long-sleeve shirt, a dark-colored hat and dark blue jeans.
