There are a few places in this world that I call my happy place and those are being in a treestand, fishing with my son, and going to Cedar Point.

Being a traveling musician at one time it allowed me to travel all over the country and while doing so, I have been to almost every amusement park there is because I love to ride rollercoasters.

Cedar point is hands down the king of roller coasters. They have Steel Vengeance, Blue Streak, Corkscrew, Millennium Force, Raptor, Magnum, Rougarou, GateKeeper, Mind Ride, Maverick, Gemini, Iron Dragon, and Valravn. They also have the Top Thrill Dragster but it won't be open this season.

There are tons of rides for kids and families of all ages. They have a giant water park plus resort hotels on the beach and all around the area.

The days of cash being king are slowly starting to become something of the past as more and more businesses are switching to cashless transactions.

Cedar Point has now done away with all cash transactions so if you plan to visit, leave your cash behind.

I bought tickets and parking passes last year online and when I went to the park I did bring a little cash but never used it since I had my debit card with me.

What Cards Does Cedar Point Accept?

According to Fox17, the cards that Cedar Point will accept are American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa credit cards as well as most debit cards. The park will also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Now say you do have some cash with you, Cedar Point will have cash to card kiosks set up around the park in case you need to make the conversion.

The good news about the card kiosks at Cedar Point is they will turn your cash into prepaid dept cards and you pay no fee unless you don't use them for 92 days in a row. If you do have a little left on the card when you leave the park, you can use them anyplace that accepts Visa.
