Quincy Man Charged In Kalamazoo For Child Sex Crimes
Michigan State Police have arrested a 27-year-old Quincy man for Child Sexually Abusive Activity that occurred in Kalamazoo.
The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Coldwater Office, is announcing the arrest of Peter Casey, 27 of Quincy, following an investigation into his online activity.
The MSP ICAC Task Force Coldwater Office followed up on a National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) tip involving online activity via Facebook. Additional content was located uncovering the creation and sharing of child sexually abusive material between Casey and his significant other, Shannon Moore of Kalamazoo, who was arrested in May 2019.
Casey is charged with criminal sexual conduct 1st Degree (victim under 13), using a computer to commit a crime, criminal sexual conduct 2nd Degree (victim under 13), child sexually abusive activity-aggravated, and aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
Michigan State Police D/Tpr/Spl. Kyle Bowers of the Michigan Cyber Section stated the activity in question occurred in Kalamazoo, which is where Peter Casey is facing charges.
