Railroad Crossing On Water Street To Be Under Construction For A Week

A major area in Downtown Kalamazoo is set to have a detour soon.

According to M-Live,   Water Street between Pitcher and Kalamazoo Avenue  will be closed Monday, October 10th through Monday, October 17th for work on the railroad crossing.

If you are not familiar, this area features Bell's, Kalamazoo Beer Exchange ,Old Dog Tavern and Water Street Coffee.  It also features the new Hop Cat, which is set to open this weekend.  Keep this in mind as you head down to the area in the next week.

There will be a detour route posted during the closure.
