I'm one of those people who never flies anywhere for any reason. I can't even remember the last time that I flew the friendly skies. And one thing is for certain, I'm staying home for Thanksgiving.

According to thehill.com, the Transportation Security Administration is anticipating a record number of fliers over the Thanksgiving holiday.

More than 26.8 million people are expected to travel through security checkpoints across the country from Nov. 22 to Dec. 2.

TSA plans to collaborate with airlines and airports to accommodate the high number of passengers.

To plan for the season, partnerships with industry and stakeholders are critical to keep travelers moving safely and securely to holiday destinations.

Airlines want to ensure travelers are as best prepared as they can be. The busiest days of travel are expected to be Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Sunday, Dec. 1.

The only traveling I plan on doing is from the living room to the kitchen to help prepare the Thanksgiving feast for my family. Might even have a little dessert!
