Since it's in between Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, let's call it Skunky Sunday.

The time has arrived - licensed marijuana shops in Michigan can make their first recreational sales on Sunday, December 1st, starting at 10 AM.

Initially, the Marijuana Regulatory Agency indicated that, because of the Thanksgiving weekend, sales would likely not start until next Monday. However, as of today, the green light was given (he he he) and sales at licensed facilities can begin this Sunday.

Now, here's the kicker - if you want to be one of the first recreational pot users in Michigan, you'll have to drive because there are only THREE shops in the state that are licensed and they're all in Ann Arbor. The rest should be open by the new year.

And just for fun, we thought we'd share this little gem of a PSA with you from back in the day. My, how things have changed.
