A search warrant led to the discovery of drug activity and stolen property in Calhoun County Tuesday night.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office says that the Calhoun County Special Response Team and Meth Response Team executed the search warrant 11pm Tuesday, to a home on Niepoth St. in Emmett Township. Authorities were acting with information that a meth lab was possibly at the residence.

The home was just a block away from a school, near Battle Creek.

Inside the home, deputies found an active meth lab, along with several firearms and a large amount of marijuana. Property that was reported stolen was also discovered.

No arrests have been made just yet, because no one was home when deputies executed the search warrant. The investigation is ongoing.
