Semi-Truck Tips Over On Ramp At I-94 And US-131

A crash on I-94 at US-131 yesterday in Portage shut down a section of the road for several hours and left a man injured.

MLive reports that a semi-truck was travelling on the ramp from I-94 to 131 around 2:45pm Wednesday, when it rolled onto its side, trapping the driver inside. Authorities had to cut the 44-year-old Niles man out, and transferred him to Bronson Kalamazoo with non-life threatening injuries.

The tipped vehicle was stuck for several hours, obstructing traffic, but was eventually removed.
