Somewhere In Time Weekend on Mackinaw

Looks like the big guns are coming out for 'The Somewhere in Time' weekend on Mackinac Island.

The Grand Hotel made the announcement, that the time traveling romance will be celebrated on the Island in October 25 -27th. The movie starred the late Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour was filmed back in 1980, but has become a cult favorite and draws thousands to Mackinac Island. The Island and Grand Hotel are featured in the movie.

For this years 'Somewhere in Time' weekend, actress Jane Seymour will be on the island to host the event. This is always one of the most popular weekends on the island.  Seymour will mingle with guests through out the weekend. One of the scheduled events will be a showing of the movie and will also feature other cast members and crew as well.

As always, guests can bring the long gowns and periods suits so they can appear in costume at the cocktail receptions, and a costume promenade and the Grand Luncheon Buffet.
