There's been a lot of talk in the news lately about protecting our natural spaces and resources from development. The Kalamazoo City Planning Commission invites you to to bear witness or speak up to protect one of our iconic natural areas, Asylum Lake, Tuesday, January 14th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at City Hall. Drive and Shine, a car wash company that recently opened up a multi-million dollar space on West Main in Kalamazoo, owns property on Stadium Drive. They would like to build another state-of-the-art facility there, however concerned citizens of Kalamazoo worry this could lead to irreversible destruction of the preserve. If you would like your voice heard regarding this development, plan on attending the Speak Up Show Up.
