Windell Middlebrooks, who was best known for portraying the Miller High Life delivery guy in a series of commercials for the beer, died earlier this week. He was 36.

Middlebrooks' family announced his passing on his Facebook page. "The Middlebrooks, with sorrowed hearts, announce the passing of a young, black star. Windell took his final bow and with great joy exited stage left in the early morning of March 9, 2015."

The video below is a great example of the "straight talking common sense" character.

Aside from the beer commercials, Middlebrooks also appeared in Scrubs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Body of Proof.
