Strong Winds Shake Trees And Cause Damage In Southwest Michigan
Wednesday's high wind advisory rocked Southwest Michigan and caused extensive power outages across the region.
Van Buren County was hit hard by high winds and extensive power outages. According to The Paw Paw Village, department of Public works, AEP had damage at a substation that provides power to Decatur, Lawton, Paw Paw and Mattawan. Power had been disrupted from 11:30 Wednesday morning and wasn't restored till 5:30 in the evening.
The wind knocked over fence panels,
And tore the roof of this house.
This was the damage I witnessed before the sun set. Here is a video showing the trees blowing while others barely move.
