Seams Sewing and Mercantile has been a staple of Lansing and they recently announced they'll be making the move this Spring

A new gluten-free & plant-based eatery will soon be open at 7083 S. Westnedge Ave in Portage called "glofoods" and will feature sandwiches, soups, salads, bowls, kids options, charcuterie, and to-go lunch boxes.

It is located at 2603 E. Milham Avenue, right between the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Airport and the Airzoo Aviation Museum. Our new venue features an authentic German-style Biergarten and a food court that serves German-style food but also welcomes visiting local food trucks.

The new concept will feature an extensive list of craft cocktails and eclectic cuisine inspired by the tropics in an atmosphere infused with elements of Havana soul, Miami-style art deco, unique artwork, and lush tropical plants.

The new location will be located in the strip mall where the Jimmy John's and Dollar Tree are located on the westbound side of Gull Rd.

Gobles is is one of my favorite little towns in Southwest Michigan, and they too are expanding with the soon to be opening of the new resale shop Downtown called, Bringer of Joy. Bringer of Joy will be a small resale shop specializing in home decor, plants and furniture.
