The Kalamazoo Public Library has announced a new scholarship for people of color looking to earn their degree in library science

“Making a UM-Flint education accessible to anyone is a top priority for us."

A candlelight vigil, which was scheduled for Monday night, will be rescheduled at a later date due to inclement weather.

This year, the keynote speaker is the First Woman Chief of Houston METRO Police, Vera Bumpers.
