Threats of violence continue to plaque schools across the state.
Authorities in Calhoun County are investigating a threat that occurred on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Homer Community Schools. Deputies were contacted by school officials after two hand-written notes were discovered on the walls of two different boys’ bathrooms inside the school.
Calhoun County health administrators have been keeping a close eye on three area schools recently. They remain on the list of schools throughout Michigan that are experiencing what the state references as sites experiencing ongoing outbreaks of the COVID-19 virus.
