MDOT Lifting More Weight Restrictions on April 4th
The Michigan Department of Transportation announced, effective at 9 a.m. Monday, April 4, weight restrictions will be lifted from the southern Michigan border north to and including US-2 from Iron Mountain to St. Ignace. Frost restrictions are still in effect for the remainder of the state and will be imposed and enforced on all state trunkline highways north of US-2. State routes typically carry M, I, or US designations.
