Western Michigan University has sent out a letter from President Edward Montgomery saying the school will be closing dorms on Tuesday, with the exception for "students with extenuating circumstances", due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With schools closed the the foreseeable future, this has put a crimp on students lives in many ways. For university students, and especially Masters and Doctoral candidates, the need for maybe an obscure document can mean the difference between success and "back to the drawing board".
Western Michigan University is latest state school to suspend in-person classes. WMU made the announcement late Wednesday afternoon that there will be no classes on Thursday and Friday (March 12 and 13) and beginning Monday, March 16th, the school will begin "delivering" education online.
