The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is bringing the mysterious world of bees to our community in an exhibit called The Secrets of Bees, June 1st through September 30th. Both informative and interactive, the exhibit helps families learn how integral the humble bee is to our world, why they are under serious threat, and what we can do to help our winged friends. Videos, hands-on activities, and a plexiglass-covered "observation hive" are a few of the ways that visitors of all ages can learn about the production of honey, while the little ones can dress up in bee costumes and gather pollen. It's a great way to help children who fear bees learn how to respect and coexist with one of the most important workers on our animal kingdom. This summer, Kalamazoo Valley Museum really is the place to bee!

The Secrets of Bees runs Jun 1st through September 30th, 2019.
