This Is the First Color Change of Michigan’s 2018 Fall Foliage Season
This photo of a leaf in Northern Michigan we think is the first demonstrated color change of the 2018 season.
The image, taken in the Marquette area, was shared on Facebook with the simple caption, "Yup, its starting."
Comments soon began rolling in that fall is indeed creeping upon our summer:
I saw some today in Petoskey I couldn't believe it.
Yep been noticing in Epoufette
It's been starting for a couple of weeks around Munising
We saw some red leaves in Paradise this past weekend
I noticed a few leaves on the ground here in Muskegon today and thought the same thing.
Saw some crimson on the trees near Paradise today also.
