The Tigers salvaged a game at Fenway Park on Sunday Night with and 8-3 win in the final meeting of the season with the Red Sox.  The Tigers take season series with the Sox. four games to three.

Nick Castellanos' two-run homer gave starter Daniel Norris an early lead, and the Tigers added a first-inning run off Sox starter Drew Pomerantz for a 3-0 lead.

The Sox scored a run in their half of the first on a Justin Pedroia double and Hanley Ramirez single.  Pedroia's double in the third inning scored another run, but Norris got Mitch Moreland to work out of a bases-loaded jam with no further damage.

In the 5th, the Tigers chased Pomerantz, and Justin Upton greeted reliever Heath Hembree with a grand slam home run.  Ian Kinsler singled in James McCann, who had doubled for the Tigers' 8th run.

The Red Sox scored a run in the 6th off reliever Shane Greene and  loaded the bases in the 9th against Justin Wilson, but a line drive to shortstop ended it, giving the Tigers the win.

Daniel Norris scattered 7 hits over five innings for the win.  He struck out six, and walked three in giving up two runs.

The Tigers are off Monday, and host Arizona and Tampa this week.
