Nine days until the first Tiger spring training game in Lakeland Florida.    Today is the first official workout for pitchers and catchers and it’s expected to be 81 degrees and overcast at the mostly renovated Joker-Marchant Stadium.   Anibal Sanchez was not among pitchers reporting on Monday.   Nick Castellanos and Tyler Collins were among a dozen position players there for day one.   Manager Brad Ausmus is expected to hold his first meeting with the media today.   Here’s the schedule for the rest of the spring:

Feb. 18: First full squad workout.

Feb. 23: Exhibition game vs. Florida Southern at Lakeland, 1:05 p.m.

Feb. 24: Grapefruit League opener vs. Orioles at Lakeland, 1:05 p.m.

Feb. 26: First road game vs. Mets at Port St. Lucie, Fla., 1:10 p.m.

March 6: First game of World Baseball Classic

March 20-22: WBC Finals at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

April 1: Final Grapefruit League game vs. Marlins at Jupiter, Fla., 12:05 p.m.

April 3: Opening Day vs. Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, 5:10 p.m.

April 7: Home opener at Comerica Park vs. Red Sox, 1:10 p.m.
