One of the 10 most wanted fugitives in Texas was arrested Monday in Kalamazoo.

The US Marshals Grand Rapids Fugitive Task Force and the Michigan State Police arrested 22-year-old Samuel Steel after they received a tip through Texas Crime Stoppers.

Steel was wanted on an aggravated robbery in a case in Copperas Cove, Texas, located just outside of Austin in July of 2016. Local investigators say that Steel, a confirmed gang member, was one of several armed men involved in the apartment robbery. Steel had been wanted in the case since September of 2016.

The investigation of the case continues.
