Coronavirus has claimed another holiday tradition as the annual TSO Christmas tour that usually plays Kalamazoo State Theatre has gone virtual in 2020.

So, technically, Trans-Siberian Orchestra will play Kalamazoo this Christmas, and can even play "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 in your living room if you want to stream the show. The annual tour delivering rocked-up versions of Christmas classics and lots of original Yuletide shredding has become as much of a holiday tradition at Kalamazoo State Theatre as Santa's trek across the skies to deliver toys to girls and boys. This year, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced a livestream event of Christmas Eve and Other Stories, presenting an intimate 90-minute performance of this beloved album on December 18.

Although this is the first holiday season in over twenty years that Trans-Siberian Orchestra isn’t touring – and we’ll miss seeing each of you out on the road – we’re excited to keep the TSO tradition alive in a new way through this 90-minute livestream special.

The good news is, for the sixth year in a row, Kalamazoo State Theatre will show National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Tickets are on sale now for this limited-capacity event. As for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the livestream ticket is $30 to see them recreate the album that started it all. And, although this is an intimate show, they promise it will be electrifying and say, "don't worry, we haven't forgotten the lasers."
