Two Kalamazoo Teens In Custody After Attempted Robbery

A pair of teens was taken into custody Thursday morning in Kalamazoo, after police say they robbed a homeless man.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to the scene at Dutton and Rose on reports of gunshots, around 4am Thursday.

The scene was investigated, and police say that a man was shot in the face with a BB gun during a robbery attempt.  

Two teens did flee from the scene, but a K-9 unit was brought in and did track them down.  The investigation continues.
