Visit The Burial Sites Of 7 Of Battle Creek’s Pioneers

Battle Creek, also called "The Cereal City" became a leading city for health reform and of course, cereal. One of the oldest cemeteries is the final resting place of several of it's early settlers. 

Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek, was established in 1844, which is also a significant year for several of the city's more prominent figures. Check out what these final resting sites look like today.

Kellogg (Both John and W.K.), Post and Bill Knapp were not only big in Business but also in the founding of The Battle Creek Sanitarium and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, along with Ellen White who believed the second coming of Jesus would be in 1844.
