Campus Alert Issued After Armed Robbery In WMU Dorm

An alert was issued to students at Western Michigan University yesterday after a student was robbed at gunpoint in one of the dorms.

Campus Police say two men stole several items from the victim at Smith Burnham Hall and then escaped through a stairwell.

The robbers are described as black males, 19-20 years of age.

One was wearing a black backpack, grey hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.  The second robber had similar clothes and wore a mask.
