Kalamazoo Authorities Looking For Suspect In Weekend Hit-And-Run

Kalamazoo authorities are attempting to track down a suspect in a hit-and-run Saturday.

The incident happened at the intersection of W Vine and S Rose St, where the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that a driver ran a red light and hit another vehicle broadside.

The occupants of the second car were injured, but they are expected to recover.

The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene on foot. Police conducted a K-9 track, and while they didn't find the suspect, they did find some of his clothing, along with drugs, leading away from the scene.

The suspect is identified as a 36-year-old Kalamazoo man with outstanding warrants.
