Kalamazoo Officers and SWAT Team Called To Kalamazoo Shooting Scene
When officers arrived they found a victim that had been shot multiple times. A SWAT team was called in to pursue the suspect shortly after.
On Monday, October 12th, 2015, at approximately 12:47 p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 1000 block of Interfaith Blvd. on a report of a shooing. Upon arrival, officers located a male, who is in his mid 20’s, that had been shot multiple times.
The victim was transported to Borgess Hospital and his injuries are consider to be non-life threatening. The Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team was called in to clear an apartment where witnesses reported the suspect ran into. Several occupants were detained however no arrests have been made. Detectives continue to investigate.
