Two Kalamazoo Women Arrested In Battle Creek After Shooting
A pair of arrests were made Saturday after a woman was shot at in Battle Creek.
The incident happened around 8am Saturday, in the 200 block of Riverside Dr. The victim told police that a female suspect fired several shots from her vehicle, and then drove off. The victim was not injured.
Battle Creek Police Officers and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle near Dickman and Avenue A. Two Kalamazoo women were inside, along with a firearm.
The driver of the car was arrested on unrelated charges, while the passenger was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm.
