Woman Shot and Killed in Portage Wednesday Morning

Sources from WMMT News Channel 3 are reporting that around 7 a.m. this morning, a woman in her mid twenties was shot and killed in her driveway.

Her home was near French Bay Drive and Old Mission St. Neighbors who saw the first emergency response time arrive on scene, saw her quickly driven to the hospital, where she reportedly died.

A suspect was found and apprehended a few blocks from the home. The victim's name has not yet been released.
