4 Groups To Regulate Michigan Marijuana

For those hoping to get into the business of marijuana in the state of Michigan, your needs will fall into one of four groups.

According to WOOD, Lansing is working on setting up four different groups that will be working on regulating marijuana for business's.

The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs has decided that one agency will be dedicated to working with those who are already licensed under the Medical Marijuana Facilities Licensing Act. The agency will have the answers and rules for those who want to break into the adult use marijuana market.

A second agency will be put in place to regulate cities and towns who are going to allow licensed marijuana facilities that fall in their jurisdictions.

A third agency will be designated for attorneys who represent marijuana establishments who are expanding into the adult use market.

A fourth agency will be set up for individuals or businesses who want to become a future license holder or a consumer of adult use in the market.
