MSU was beating Michigan 24-14 at one point, but it wasn't enough. Michigan rallied back with a huge touchdown grab by Mario Manningham and won 28-24.

After the game Michigan running back made these comments.

Coach Dantonio used that as motivation for years.

Pride comes before the fall. It seems the only thing that could stop the fall of Dantonio right now is a win against Michigan.

Lots of people see the end coming for the coach who has a great record against Michigan. 8-4.

No matter what happens in his future, Coach Mark Dantonio ALWAYS gave us a shot to beat Michigan. Thanks Coach, I won't forget that.
