The Big Ten Network on Thursday named longtime Michigan State men's basketball coach Tom Izzo (pictured with assistants Dane Fife, left and Dwayne Stephens, right) as the conference's Coach of the Decade (2010's).

Izzo has been the head coach in East Lansing since taking over for Jud Heathcote in 1995.  He's led the Spartans to eight Final Four appearances and the 2000 National Championship during his tenure.

And in 2016, he was voted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.  Izzo has accumulated 628 victories in his 25 year career at MSU.  He has won or shared 10 regular season Big Ten titles, and led the Spartans to six Big Ten tournament titles.
