This is How Downtown Construction Affects Kalamazoo Ribfest 2019
The layout for this year's Kalamazoo Ribfest has been altered due to ongoing construction but we think you are going to like what you find once you get there.
You've seen the cranes busily at work near the festival site- this is what it means for this year's Kalamazoo Ribfest.
Parking
Water Street will be closed near the main entrance at the Arcadia Creek bridge; the parking meters will not be in service. We recommend you park in the Radisson ramp or the Arcadia Creek Ramp on Rose Street.
Entrances
The main entrance at the bridge on Water Street will again be the main entrance- this is where you go if you need to buy a ticket the day you attend Ribfest. Our barrier-free entrance for those needing access along with VIP ticket-holders and those who have purchased general admission tickets in advance is at the corner of North Burdick and Eleanor street.
The Food
In addition to the usual rib row on Edwards Street, we have moved some of our rib vendors to the Eleanor Street/Koopsen’s Alley area…no more long lines for ribs!
We don't foresee any major problems due to the ongoing construction downtown, and we know it won't affect the flow of the beer or the great lineup of music we have for you so plan on joining us for three days of fun at Kalamazoo Ribfest 2019!
