The Detroit Red Wings are set to head north for the preseason in September.  They will play a game in Calumet, Michigan against the St. Louis Blues.

According to M-Live, the game will be played in Calumet as part of Kraft Hockeyville.  Calumet and the Calumet Colosseum will host the game as the winner of the annual contest.  Calumet is located in the Upper Peninsula in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

The Calumet Colosseum opened in 1913 and is the oldest in use ice arena in the world. It will host the Red Wings, Blues preseason game on September 26th.  The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Net.
