DNR To Auction Off Hundreds of Acres Of Michigan Land
We first heard about this a few years ago and it still seems unbelievable. One of if not the most beautiful state in the country still has some valuable land that's available to buy. Maybe you've heard the old saying: "Buy land cuz God isn't making any more". Well, it's that time of the year when you can own more of Michigan.
wlns.com reports that The Department Of Natural Resources is getting ready for you to make an offer. Starting Tuesday December 10th, the DNR will begin it's Winter auction of surplus public land. In all there's 147 parcels available ranging in size from less than an acre to 160 acres. Land is available in many counties and a lot is close by like Allegan, Van Buren, Jackson, Newaygo and Muskegon. And elsewhere like Alpena, Bay, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Clare, Crawford, Delta, Dickinson, Houghton, Iosco, Kalkaska, Lake, Mackinac, Midland, Missaukee, Otsego and Saint Clair.
