Changes may be in store for high school students, in terms of graduation requirements, under recommendations made by Governor Rick Snyder. According to the Associated Press, requirements would become more flexible but would also include a mandatory career readiness course, Governor Snyder told lawmakers on Monday. Snyder called on lawmakers to change the Michigan Merit Curriculum and adds that computer science should count as an option to meet a foreign language requirement.
