Coach Tom Izzo says ESPN color commentator Dan Dakich owes Michigan State University and its students and apology, after this Tweet:

247sports.com has the details of how the MSU Coach learned about the Twitter battle, and why the MSU Student body was chanting against Dakich during the Ohio State game on Tuesday night in East Lansing.

After the win over Ohio State on Tuesday night, Izzo said the following:

"If I would have known that before the game, I would have

And I think it's funny because I got no respect for him for that."

Dakich has taken down the tweet, and speculation is that he’s laying low because he’s either being reprimanded by ESPN, or just hoping the thing will blow over.

If I was an MSU student, I wouldn’t be letting it “blow over” any time soon, however Dakich was hoping to clear the air when he tweeted,
